Spring 2024 Fashion Designs and Colors
Before you know it, winter coats and cardigans will be packed up and consumers will be welcoming warm weather. We here at Bloom have anticipated the demand for seasonal fashion transitions and have added early spring styles in our February fashion launches.
Many are ready to exchange winter apparel for dreamy pastels and floral prints, while others are waiting for the first signs of spring to bare legs in knee-length skirts. If you’re curious to know which items will be added to our launch lineup first, consider this as a cheat sheet of what’s to come for spring 2024.
Blue Magic
After a long winter season of red, red, red, calming hues of pastels – from icy blue and tranquil peach to mesmerizing lime – will be hot this spring. And they juxtapose easily with more edgy pieces, like a midi skirt or frayed denim shorts. Be ready for the mystifying power of pastels mixed with the pop of hot pink.
Reveal and Conceal
When temperatures warm up, people want to take transparent fabrics for a spin. This spring, look for femme’ tiered rayon lined skirts of all designs – from pure solids to lace-emboldened styles. These skirts will easily mix & match with full-coverage sweaters, button down tops or floral tops. It’s all about balance, right?
The Modern Tunic
If you want to wow your customers with flattering and sophisticated fashion, you will be happy to learn that the modern tunic with mock necks, sleeveless flutter sleeves and back neck buttons will take on a new life this spring. Be prepared for elongated silhouettes and glamour.
Pump of the Volume
Batwing was popularized in the 1930's and is making a comeback. Fashion with this design offer a “batwing” sleeve designed from a large triangular piece of fabric that connects the shoulder to the elbow or wrist. Increasingly, designers are incorporating this design in dresses and tops. Dolman designs are similar.
The smocked design that is bunched up (in a nice way) and sewn with elastic thread offers stretch and styles. This design lends to a tighter fit but with the added benefit of the ability to expand and accommodate a variety of body shapes. Look for smocked designs in spring dresses, bottoms and tops.
Babydoll Peplum offers a flared appeal in the construction of a jacket, dress or blouse that extends a short distance below the waistline. Peplums may be sewn to the bodice, cut in one with the bodice, or offer a separate section attached to a belt. Dresses, tops and blouses will incorporate this design in spring 2024.
Palazzo and Capri Bottoms
Eternal in style, look for glamorous palazzo pants with smocked waist designs and wide leg cuts that offer flattering silhouette drapes. Capris will also be on every boutique rack, paired with flats, sneakers or heels. Prints will be varied, from florals, solids and geometric prints to abstracts.
It’s hard to believe warm weather is just around the corner. But don’t be “April Fooled!” Get ready for spring 2024 and increase sales!
